Breathe In Breathe Out

I am pretty sure we can all agree that we wake up and feel a little happier when the sun is shining. A new day is so much easier to tackle when the rays of the sun are out to help move us along. Being outside and breathing in fresh air actually provides us lots of great benefits. Even if it’s just a quick stroll around the block or hanging out on your porch and reading a book (or a blog – no shame). This is the time of year when our world starts waking up from hibernation. Browns turn to greens and azalea buds and magnolia blooms start popping! Lawn mowers start buzzing and grills start heating up! Bathing suit season is nearing (GASP!) and children and teachers are trudging through the last weeks of the school year. Spring purging, dusting, and garage cleaning is going strong across Your Town, USA.

YEAH FOR SPRING!  I REALLY hope it has finally sprung this year because it’s my FAVORITE! We here at ASF want to encourage you to get up and get out…  OUTSIDE that is! You can’t very well take in this beautiful creation from in front of a screen! Walk barefoot in fresh cut grass! Listen to the water massage the river rocks as it flows downstream? Rock skipping?!  YES PLEASE! If you aren’t sure what to do, I dare you to mark your calendars for the first Monday of every month at 11am and let your ASF family lead you outside! We will meet in various exotic locations (ok, that’s not true – this IS Clarksville people so work with us) for some fun runs!  Ooooooh, so you are of the opinion that the words “fun” and “run” don’t go together… well then you haven’t met ME, the new running and endurance coach at ASF. “FUN” is my middle name! 😉

Grab a friend and let’s GO! The world is waiting!
