Wednesday’s WICKED AWESOME Recipe


I LOVE BRUSSEL SPROUTS!  If you don’t love Brussel Sprouts you’re doing something wrong.  My aunt, well she’s actually my mom’s cousin so I honestly have no idea what that makes her to me, but I always called her Aunt Sherry sooooo, she’s my Aunt Sherry. 😉  Well, Aunt Sherry always said, “EVERY GOOD DISH BEGINS WITH BACON AND ONION”.

I have found this very bold statement to be largely true over the years!  One of my FAVORITE ways to fix one of my FAVORITE vegetables is literally stupid proof.

Dice and fry up some bacon in a pan.  How much bacon is up to you depending upon how much you love this blessed (prounounced bless-ED) food.

Add chopped onion to the pan. The exact amount of onion is also up to you, just keep in mind that onion is somewhat less bless-ED than it’s aforementioned partner in delicious crime. 😉

Add Brussel Sprouts to the pan and cook ’till tender.

Salt and pepper to taste.

BOOM!  Best Brussel Sprouts around, GUARANTEED!
