What year did you start CrossFit?

Why did you get into CrossFit?

While stationed in Fort Benning, GA, I heard about CrossFit from guys who redeployed from overseas raving about these brutal workouts they could do in any austere environment, and so I tried it out. I became hooked with the community and bonding experience from shared suffering and accomplishments.

Why did you become a trainer?

As I got more involved in Fort Hood, TX, I decided to get my Level 1 certification. A couple good friends we were working out with were creating a military affiliate on base, so I started helping those around me and loved assisting them in achieving new “firsts” and goals. The rewarding feeling of sharing in other’s accomplishments got me hooked.

Cleans and Ring Dips

What is your favorite cheat food?

Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter with Chocolate, Pizza, and Peanut Butter

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Don’t have one – was never into Superheroes.
