Tornado Relief for Clarksville… what we can do.

Soooooo, Joel and I are members at one of the most bestest churches in Clarksville!  Lifepoint Church is located just a short walk away from the Farmington neighborhood where one of the tornados touched down on Saturday.  Below is a message from my super fantastic Pastor, Mike Burnett, who is heading up some extensive relief efforts via our church body.

ASF will be a collection point for “stuff” mentioned below, and I will continue to update the ASF family on the private Always Strong FB page & in Wodify announcements as needs arise/change.

If you feel so led to give financially, you can do so via the link below.

If you know anyone in the immediate ASF family that needs assistance, please let me know ASAP.

Hey friend. Just wanted to send a quick update:

It looks like about 100 of the houses in our neighborhood around the church were affected by this tornado. From minimal damage to total destruction, and everywhere in between, many people are in need. We have about 12 homeless families at this point.

At this point the biggest needs are:

Prayer- for God’s peace, safety, provision, comfort, and the Body of Christ to come together well!

Stuff- basic toiletries and linens and water and nonperishable snacks food items. We will need teams to come with gloves and shovels and tools to do clean up once the insurance companies have finished their work.

There is a huge need for finances! We have also established a giving link for people to give and 100% of any of that money will go directly to the neighbors who have need.

Thanks so much friends. I’ll share more as I have it, and we will post on social media too.
